islander_810 Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 Hi,I'm running Vista Ultimate SP1 and whenever I try to install Virtual PC 2007, I get an error saying "You must uninstall previous versions of Virtual PC before setup can continue..." This is even though I don't have it installed.What's going on?
MAVERICKS CHOICE Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Something corrupted in your registry maybe? Can tell you VPC2007 installs ok on every OS I've tried it on.
islander_810 Posted April 29, 2008 Author Posted April 29, 2008 Used to work without a hitch in XP for me too, that too customised XP.Anyway, installed a unmodified version of Vista. Virtual PC works just fine. However, after I used vLite to remove components, it doesn't. Will go over the component removal list again.
