jman0918
I went out and bought an ATI HD 2600 PRO AGP for my aging AMD64 system. There have been some driver issues with this card, and none of the drivers are signed. My unattended setup includes a Catalyst 7.12 driver that is modified so XP can use it. If I add "UpdateInstalledDrivers=yes" to [unattended] in winnt.sif, the driver installs smoothly and I avoid a yellow arrow in Device Manager and booting to the safe 640 x 480. Perhaps this line should be included by default?I'm curious if there's a registry entry that I can make to set the AGP to 4x by default. For some reason, the 2600 is unstable at 8x and locks up almost immediately. Edited April 20, 2008 by jman0918
Tripredacus
Does your board have an 8x slot? I bought an 8x AGP card recently, but I run it at 4x because the slot in my computer is 1x2x4x.
