Hibernate Problem

Hello Guys,

I need help with hibernate issue, I am using vista business edition, i did cleanup hard drive by using option shown in hd properties(Disk Cleanup). Ever since i lost hibernate option from vista, i looked so many places online, i found one statement every website that go to control panel and type "powercft /hibernate on". microsoft also says the same thing. but it is still not working for me, i don't have hibernate option.

I just don't want to reinstall vista since i have lot of costomization done.

my actual problem is i don't have hibernate option in my vista.

please let me know if there is anything elso you know about the issue, any help would be appriciated.

Do you have 4 gb ram or greater? If the answer is yes then I believe that is why Hibernate is not available even as an option.

Try setting 'Hybrid Sleep' to Off and hibernate may then become an option.

who thoght that enabling hibedsleep will disable hibernation, thanks a lot for your help that actually fixed my months long issue.
