NOLAnuffsaid Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 i used nlite to create a newer more efficient windows install for my system. after creating the iso file i put it to the test with Microsoft VM 2007. it installed everything they way i wanted except for the logon screen. on my logon screen i only see an account with my first name and no other accounts are visible - there should be a guest account and an Admin account. when i Ctrl+Alt+Del and i type the username in manually i can only log into one account; the one with my first name attached to it. how do i fix this?thanx
neo Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 It may be disabled so....run this command in cmdnet user Administrator /active:yesand make reg changes, something like that:1) Run Registry Editor (type regedit in Run dialog box and hit enter)2) Naviagte to : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\SpecialAccounts\UserList3) Create a DWORD Value and named it to Administrator and set it to 1Log off or restart to take effect.
vanbc Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 i had Administrator enabled to show on the logon screen but it didn't show.Turned off pc and bam... there it was when i turned it back on.meh
