Multimedia Audio Controller - Driver

I re-formatted my disk and reloaded Windows XP. Everything works great ... except I have no sound. In the Device Manager, the multimedia audio controller has a big yellow question mark on it.

System Model = Desktop ( a clone of some sort )

Processor = 2.67 gigahertz Intel Pentium 4, 8 kilobyte primary memory cache, 512 kilobyte secondary memory cache

Main Circuit Board = Board: MICRO-STAR INTERNATIONAL CO., LTD MS-6540

Bus Clock: 133 megahertz

BIOS: Phoenix Technologies, LTD 6.00 PG 10/31/2003

Memory Modules = 512 Megabytes Installed Memory

How and where do I get a sound driver?

you can also use a program like Unknown Devices to see 'hidden' information about your hardware that might help you locate drivers for it.

You get it from your motherrbard or your sound cards manufacturer.
