My Outlook 2003 client is really slow when starting up. It is set to cache mode since I have BCM (Business Contact Manager) installed. I usually have to restart my PC several times before I can actually click on an email. I usually wait till it says "All folders are up to date" and then start navigating through but lately I noticed that there's a delay moving from one email to the other. I have 1GB of RAM and this is the only program that I have trouble with. Any help would be appreciated.

Maybe your .pst file is getting to big or some add-in is causing the trouble. But, I think that probably you are having to big .pst file (file in which your all mail is stored). Try to delete some of unnecessary (big size) mail and see if that solves the problem.

Cheers ;)

Have you ruled out network or server slowness ?

Yeah it is not a network issue. Everything else seems to be working fine and no one else is complaining.

Well the actual mailbox itself is over the quota maybe that might be the cause. Not sure if the PST folders are causing it.
