little_alien Posted April 7, 2008 Posted April 7, 2008 Hi alldid any one ever find way to resolve the "The file usbechi.sys is corrupted " during the intall process ?i have read the web and tried everything i have found. to start the pc is a HP dc7800 sff brand new, taken the cd and tried with nlite. it verified all files. still same problemcheck hardware ( its not the issue)tried renaming the file nopeany thought :

I have noticed that the majority of post from google linked threads and the like were from 2004 ish,ah well will have to work it myself then.

Searched crazy, noone is responding to peoples questions !Lucky me, I had these backup disks wich contained working ISO'sI deleted my test ISO and copied an old one back from backup, problem solvedThen I remembered;problem started when I was writing an ISO with NERO, discovered I made a mistake, couldn't wait for NERO to finish writing &opened the ISO inside UltraISO...<-- no errors but ISO will be corrupted for ANY future sessions !!!hope this helps,
