The whole OEM licensing thing is screwy.

All dells with vista home premium installed have the same key, as do their recovery/reinstall cd's. All of 'em. Then all the business versions have the same key, etc. Just reinstalling from the CD should work fine; you should never even have to put in the product key in the first place.

It's normal for a key-finder utility not to match with the COA, they're almost always different.
