TravisO Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 Since there's very strong rumors that XP SP3 is going to be released on Monday, does anybody know if any of the XP slipstream programs out there support SP3 (obviously there might be some minor tweaks to be sure it works with RTM).I plan on installing SP3 the day it comes out, but I want to slipstream my XP CD too, especially since how old SP2 is.
Kelsenellenelvian Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 nLite works wonders!Plus the manual way works.

jrf2027 Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 On a related note...my SP2c installation source disc includes KB911164 in the I386/SVCPACK directory...will I still need this update after slipstreaming SP3 into the source?
RickSteele Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 (edited) On a related note...my SP2c installation source disc includes KB911164 in the I386/SVCPACK directory...will I still need this update after slipstreaming SP3 into the source?no, I'm running 5503 and use the Auzentech Prelude soundcard; Microsoft update showed no updates to download. I slipstream IE7 and the four hotfixes using OnePiece_IE7AddOn_2.0.4_INTL_Only_for_RVMi.7z from here:http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4847 Edited March 23, 2008 by RickSteele
