Pinned Apps List Removed (solved)

Hi,

I created a WinXP CD and accidently toggled "Remove Pinned Apps List from Start Menu" (I just wanted to remove the last launched Apps, guess I was a bit too fast)

Is there any way to get the pinned Apps back without reinstalling the system?

EDIT: Found it, hidden somewhere within the group policies...

Hi,

I don't know how the entries are called in the english version of XP, so I will use a rough translation of the german ones...

After running gpedit.msc goto "User Configuration" / "Administrative Templates" / "Start Menu and Task Bar" - a quiet long list of options will open, there should be one among them with a name similar to "Remove pinned programs from Start Menu"
