tal ormanda Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 A long time ago I split my local disk into two and now I reinstalled XP on here and I deleted the partition to be left with 22.51GB of unallocated space. How can I go about combining them with the main volume?
IcemanND Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 you can get software to combine partitions like partition magic. you could use an imaging tool like ghost and back up the disk to an image repartition and then restore to the expanded partition.
Access Denied Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 With XP, you will need a 3rd party application. I used Norton Partition Magic when I did that last. I would check with other opinions on software to use these days. I don't need software to do it anymore.
