I made my first vLite image last night and everything went well except with some updates. I had 2 failures, KB905866 and KB933246. I went on to create the ISO without them and tested the image in Virtual PC. Once I was satisfied it was ok, I used it in vLite and tried integrating the two updates with the new image just made. Unfortunately, only the first update integrated successfully and the second had the same error. This second image seamed ok, but does an image lose any degradation when you re-image an image?

No errors were generated and the log button doesn't seam to work. (clicked on it and nothing happened) I'm not sure what to do next. I noticed some others had trouble with DreamScene too and the solution offered was to use a program that was in another language. I dont remember what it was called but I only know English. Is there an English program that does the same thing? Thanks for any help.

Reimaging should be fine unless the hotfix itself does something unexpected so it is best to do it all at once if possible.

Is your Vista Ultimate so that you can use those Extras? Btw did you keep WMP Codecs for the Dreamscene?

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I have the Ultimate version and I did keep the codecs. Someone gave me the updates because I like to learn about the ins and outs of an OS before it's let out to the net. (been only 2 weeks) But, If I were to let Vista update on its own, do you think it might fix the problem?

BTW - I think you're right about the reimaging, it seams to be working fine.
