IE7 AND it's update via cmdlines.txt

Recommended Posts

Hello, i have install ie7 via cmdlines.txt and it works. Problem is when i try to install update for fixing runonceex for IE7. Update writes error that i don't have right IE version so it will not install.

Anyone know how to "fix" it?

Because i want vissible runonceex, I can only imagine installing update in with runonceex with hiden flag > remove flag > reboot > continue with other things in runonceex. But i don't like this idea because of one unnecessary (probably) restart.

Hi,

If you install the new IE7 download file, you won't have any problem with the RunOnceEX.

I install IE7 with "Svcpack" (T-13) and I have "RunOnceEX" working as expected.

You can install the IE7 updates via "RunOnceEX". Windows will just update the IE7 EXE file after the installation finish; this is why the updates for Internet Explorer can't be installed in the same stage as the program.

Forgive my English.

Good luck,

Anderton.
