denli Posted February 27, 2008 Share Posted February 27, 2008 I am using a stripped down Vista Business to run VirtualPC 2007, but when starting the program I get the warning:Virtual PC could not open the Virtual Machine Services driver.and I get errors in the eventlog stating:Log Name: SystemSource: Service Control ManagerDate: 2008-02-27 13:24:08Event ID: 7000Task Category: NoneLevel: ErrorKeywords: ClassicUser: N/AComputer: XXXXXXXDescription:The Virtual Machine Network Services service failed to start due to the following error: The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it.What component do I need to keep in Vista to avoid this error?
