straytoasters
Upon admin first login I have a script that runs that sets up a user account, maps a network drive, moves a bunch of files over from the network mapped drive...that all works fine. However when I log into the user account the mapped drive (from net use /persistent:yes) is no longer there. Is this just because i am using the "first login" account (administrator), or am I missing something deeper? What is a way to get a drive pre-mapped? Thanks.StrayToasters
TheReasonIFail
The mapped drive will only be seen from the account you mapped it.So the users will not be able to see anything you have mapped with the Administrator account.
straytoasters
Ok, so I ended up just putting in another net use.cmd in the all users start up so I (the new user will get prompted to re-map the drive when they start up.StrayToasters
