Here are some captures for Your attention to present improvements in vista performance. Nothing radical as I need it for many tasks, but very stable See capture4.

My notebook is HP nx-9420.

Ram 1 gb 1 slot

dual core 1.83

Vista boot up time improvement:

Full - 18 sec

Vlited - 10 sec See Capture3

Windows experience index:

Full - 4.1

Vlited - 4.3 See Capture

RAM usage:

Full - around 600 mb

Vlited - 350- 375 mb See capture 2

Processes:

Full - 41

Vlited -29 (5 needed for full functionality and my needs)

Instalation size:

vlited - 2.9 gb. Time to make a capture is lost, sorry...

with office and apps I use - 4.8 gb Capture1

Full - around 7 gb.

Critical events and errors after using vlited vista for one week See capture 4. Extremely stable performance having in mind funcntionalities I kept and added and 5 new games I am playing! That is why I love vlite!!! System stability!

Only thing that looks weird is Windows uptime of 1 hour and 51 min. That is not really reliable to be measuring memory usage and other statistics 2 hours after tampering with other programs and so on. Just saying, maybe you wanted that kind of comparison, more real-world like.

5 minutes after boot RAM usage drops to 290-300 mb. But yes I wanted to present general usage of vlited system, not a radical minimum possible to show.

Love this.. maybe i'll go to to buy a dvdrw in a hour, and i'll try to shrink some vista - vlite installation of some sort..
