Hi Guys,

I have an Sony Vaio Notebook with preinstalled Vista Home Premium.

I would like to create a custom OS DVD with V-Lite, however after installing the V-Lite Prog. it asks me for the installation folder of Vista, since I don't have the original Vista CD/DVD, i don't know which folder i have to choose for the installation path.

My OS is on Two BackUP DVD's in form of an image file and Iam unable to go via the V-Lite option into the image itself and coose the folder.

How do you do that in this case?

I had the same problem with my sony notebook with preinstalled xp.

Sorry to say, but there is no way to extract files You need to use with vlite. Even worse, the key You have on Your notebook will not work with fresh copy of vista, as it is OEM key.

And how bloated is sony installation!

I hate them for that!
