Guest Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 Hello to everyone! I am an electronic tech that is learning computers as fast as I can. The only computers we had when I was in school was the TRS-80, Commodore, etc. If I sound really ignorant with some of the words and terms I use, it's because I am ignorant when it comes to much of the computer lingo, techniques, etc. I have picked up a lot of knowledge from the workplace since using computers was required, but I still need a lot of information to know what a lot of people are talking about. When I hear terms like bootstrap, xxx.dll, msi, and exe, I know vaguely what they're for but don't have a clue how to use them. Go easy on me and I'll try to get up to speed ASAP!
