dd_wizard
When a driver folder contains multiple .inf files, vLite v1.1.1 grabs the first one even if you manually select a different one. For example, the following folder:Directory of T:\Vista SP 1\drivers\driver_cardreader_ti_25742A\Windows\tiinst02/14/2008 12:42 PM <DIR> .02/14/2008 12:42 PM <DIR> ..03/23/2004 11:45 AM 28,672 cttib1.dll11/17/2005 03:46 PM 337,320 difxapi.dll10/10/2006 10:05 PM 9,016 gtipci21.cat10/10/2006 01:59 PM 3,149 gtipci21.inf04/06/2006 03:49 PM 88,192 gtipci21.sys04/11/2006 01:29 PM 18,025 LICENSE.txt10/05/2006 04:58 PM 9,522 tifm21.cat10/05/2006 10:38 AM 7,409 tifm21.inf07/06/2006 01:44 PM 168,448 tifm21.sys11/11/2004 06:40 AM 9,734 TIFMICON.CAT01/14/2004 07:46 AM 172,032 tifmicon.dll11/03/2004 03:15 AM 13,960 TIFMICON.INF01/14/2005 05:28 PM 17,120 tiscfw.deb02/14/2008 12:42 PM 0 tmp.txt08/15/2006 11:16 AM 142,848 uminst.exe 15 File(s) 1,025,447 bytes 2 Dir(s) 74,619,248,640 bytes freewill always integrate gtipci21.inf, even though I select tifm21.inf. The only way to integrate the correct driver is to delete gtipci21.inf or change it's file extension. I have two driver folders with multiple inf files where the correct file is not the first inf file, and it's happening for both of them.Think this is a bug?dd_wizard Edited February 14, 2008 by dd_wizard
nuhi
It integrates the whole folder because the whole folder is the normal driver package. However I am planning to make it selectable since some manufacturers put XP and Vista drivers at the same place. Best is to delete the inf file for which you are certain that is not needed, before the integration.
dd_wizard
Thanks Nuhi. If I want to minimize size, I should delete all the unused files too then.dd_wizard
