Could you or others give some examples please?

If this only includes NT 4.0 Server or WINS compatibility under Windows 2000/XP/2003 then great.

Hopefully it has nothing to do with Active Directory/MDAC/Jet/MSXML or even Simple File Sharing.

I generally disable the latter.
