February 6, 200818 yr I had to reinstall WinXP Pro recently. I haven't made any changes to my config from before. I have a Media device I use to stream downloaded TV Shows to my Living room TV that also hadn't changed config. The problem is that now when I browse the network through it I can see all the shared folders but can only see files if they are in WinXp's default "Shared Documents" folder. All other folders I can see but no files appear in them. My media device does give me an error saying that it can't connect to my network. I have tried resharing the folders multiple times. I have compared file sharing permissions on everything and they are all the same. Any ideas why only "Shared Documents" folder is fully accessible? Thank you.
