Is there a benefit of manually downloading the huge list of hotfixes since WinXP SP2 has been released and putting them inside nLite install vs having Windows automatically install these after booting XP for the first time?


First, if you plan to experiement wth your computer and have ro reinstall Windows a few times, you won't have to reinstall all the hotfix.

Also when downloading the updates, they will all stay on your HDD, also adding a nice "uninstall folder" which is good for a few hundred megabytes alltogether.
