Hi ive just created a funky unnattended dvd for my fathers laptop so he has everything on 1 disc. He has a fairly slow dvd drive and i was just using the install disc and it bothered me how slow the install was.

Looking from the very beggining i noticed that when the xp cd first loads it starts to load up the keyboard drivers, scsi, sata drivers etc... Lots of them are useless to me and teh laptop in question. Is there anyway to change which files first get loaded so i can speed up the process.

Any help in this area would be greatly appreciated

Also ive looked into this and im not sure if any work on this area has been done so it might be something to try to improve
