Outlook 2003 - Receives emails but can not view them in Inbox

We are using Office 2003 on Windows XP. I have a user who is receiving his email, but can not view them in the preview area. He can view his Sent Items, Deleted Items and subfolders of this Inbox but just not the Inbox itself. This also happens when you log him into another machine. If he goes into owa he can read his mail without a problem.

I have tried exporting the Inbox to a PST and opening that and it works just fine. I have also setup another folder title Innbox and created a rule to take new messages and put them in that folder and we can see them just fine that way as well.

Any thoughts?

Maybe something wrong with his profile? Try cleaning out his profile of office-related settings.

Must just be a display option.

Try menus

View / Arrange By /Current View / ->Messages.

or reset the view:

View / Arrange by / Custom/ Reset Current View.
