Bootable WinPE2.0 from USB "Press any key" ?

Hi,

I've got a bootable USB stick with WinPE 2.0 on it. It has been formatted as NTFS because of the size of the .wim file that is also located on it. Now i have been searching for it, but how can i add "Press any key to boot from USB" to it? Same as CD and DVDs.

I personally don't think an NTFS bootsector is available that can do that.

Thanks!

Sure.

I guess the best thing you can do is to use grub4dos' grldr.

Change (hexedit) the bootsector to invoke grldr and then put in menu.lst a provision for booting the standard loader on the stick or the one on hard disk.

Or use spacesurfer trick of renaming grldr to bootmgr
