DeepFreeze 5 Problem

Featured Replies

Hi dear friends,

I installed DeepFreeze5 on my notebook and used to use it peacefully.

Yesterday, I installed "Partition Manager" which allows you to select the operating system. After that, DF5 was put to Freeze mode. after a few restarts, i noticed that it's working (protecting my PC) but there were no icon in my taskbar...

How can I enter DeepFreeze?

Uninstalling it doesn't work because it's in freeze mode. I also downloaded a prog (Deep Unfreeze). It can't recognize DF on the system!!!

The deep hell with the Deep Freeze!!!

Could you please answer to my email? I'm at msabaelt@gmail.com

Thanks

yeah ive seen this before but its been a while(i think they fixed it in one of the 6.x versions). if you alter a frozen partition, it can prevent the df5serv service from running (thats what allows you to ctrl-alt-shift-f6) but the drive is still stuck frozen. i attempt to install a newer version even though your frozen because i know they fixed this im just not sure how you would get back to a working state.

if you are unable to upgrade to the newer version you could try windows steadystate on your next build. its free but doesnt have all the features of DF
