u2kforever Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 (edited) , Thanks for the awesome winXP patch. I am now able to play winXP games without any problems. Only one game i have come across so far that i cant play which is project snowblind. But i have it on xbox so no big deal. Anyway, i have a game , called Midnight outlaw. When i go to install it, it says: WinNT is needed or WInNT OS only. Something like that. Is there a patch to play NT games or is it something i am missing? Edited January 17, 2008 by u2kforever

BenoitRen Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 All I can say is that this is weird. WinXP is a WinNT OS. I have no idea why your game is being difficult. Never mind that before WinXP, there were no games for WinNT OSs.

Never mind that before WinXP, there were no games for WinNT OSs.I think it checks some NT/NT-based only thing, maybe registry or dll, not os version like KernelEX emulates...This happened with one of my programs, I used UniExtract...
