kmaheshkumar Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 one of my friend installed windows 2000 professional sp4 after that i plugged my pendrive to that pc it has not detected the pendrive and after 3 minutes i noticed that my pen drive is get heated from then it is not working
bj-kaiser Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 the USB port in question doesn't happen to be on a PCI bracket?If it is, maybe the connectors to the mainboard aren't connected in the right order.Just a guess

kmaheshkumar Posted January 17, 2008 Author Posted January 17, 2008 but after installing xp in the same pc the other pendrives r working when i plugging this pendrive it becomes heati purchased that pendrive just before a week this is the second time i saw this problem first time one of my friends pendrive also happened like this only when he plugged to 2000 is there any problem to new pendrives with 2000 OS
