ag-sja Posted January 16, 2008 Share Posted January 16, 2008 Hi all !!Every time I log on I get the question if I would like to run the file lssas.exe, from an unknown publisher. Of course I do not want to run it, so I press Cancel button.What is this ? Is it the old Sasser or what ??I have run the sasser removal tool from Symantec, in safe mode. It said it could not find anything.I have run Spybot, and fixed what it proposed to fix.I have run trough the whole system with Norton antivirus, without anything found.The system is XP Home SP2, Dell Dimension.Very, VERY grateful for any help.ThanksÅge Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

XP_2600 Posted January 17, 2008 Share Posted January 17, 2008 Mostly its a virus, cause windows service named lsass.exe, and its from microsoft so its will not give a warning about unknown publisher, try to run any up to date anti virus and anti spyware.
