Troydonn
For some reason I have lost the little icon for my volume control on my task bar. I have read all kinds of ideas as how to fix it but I just went through Heck fixing a system mess and I don't want to creat another problem. This problem occurred after I was finished and the icon was there for several days. I reas one comment from somebody who said there was an easy fix by downloading a Volume Control Repair program. Not sure what the program is. Need help. Edited January 15, 2008 by DigeratiPrime

firefoxthebomb
Another thing you may check is this.Right Click on the taskbar, and go to propertiesIn the first tab (Taskbar) towards the bottom look for a checkmark on Hide inactive IconsThen click on CustomizeLook for the one that says Volume and see what it is set too. If it is set to always hide that is why it may not be there.
