Can't use VPN after using slimmed Win XP Pro SP2 created by nlite

Have anyone successfully connected to a vpn server after using slimmed Win XP Pro SP2 created by nlite?

The following is the components that I've removed:

Those look suspicious to me:

Drivers

ATM Support

Modem Support

Extensible Storage Engine (not likely)

Application Layer Gateway (also not likely)

Retry without removing them.

The installation repeated with the following three items NOT removed:

ATM Support

Modem Support

Application Layer Gateway

But still the vpn is not working.
