NERO 8 RECODE

Hi,

First post so please go easy.

I have finally found a software tool to decode mpeg2 to mpeg4 on full hd i.e 1920 x 1080. I have managed to decode most movies apart from one which is 300 HD.

We i try to decode this movie on Nero Decode i get an error message with this selected file is valid and non DRM Protected Video That is playable on this system.

I guess this is might be a copy right problem ?

Any suggestions to get around this.

"decoding" is done for playback, it sounds like you are trying to "encode" or "transcode" a mpeg2 into an mpeg4. Is that correct?

Yes.

Currently i have a HD film (1920 X 1080) on my hard drive which is on mpeg2. I am try to change this to Mpeg4 so i can play on my media server.

Do you know of any software which would be able to do this. Nero seems to work for other films i have apart from the film 300 which i think might have new copy right coding on it ?
