Well the Topic says the problem entirely

but here is a little more info

I am trying to make the install faster and i saw the setup load like 10x faster but it wasn't that dramatic that i should lose that protection from my stupidity. so i wanted it back to test some other features with it. but when i went to change it back it said enabled and i was like HUH? PLUS it was greyed out! so even if i wanted it disabled i couldn't do it. so what should i do? Preferably i don't want to restart on my Xp version

Greyed out options mean that they don't exist, that they don't have any effect. Just right-click on your desktop for example and you'll see that the Paste option will be greyed out. This simply means that it's unavailable. If you would copy a shortcut for example, then the Paste option will become available again. In your case, the fact that it's greyed out means that it's not enabled, so there is nothing to worry about.

Sorry but you will have to.

You removed the component, so you don't have the option to remove it again from the new set of files you created, that's why it's greyed out. nLite does not add Windows components, so only thing you can do is restart with your original CD and not remove SFC.
