Microsoft websites slow? FIXED!

For some strange reason, today going to MS.COM is rather "slow" (or page not even loading...).

I also noticed that I repeatedly get a pop-up getting offered to participate in SilverStreak Beta search engine. Is this new search engine what's causing this?

Or is MS just being clobbered due to all those Vista computers that people got on Christmas and are updating them all at once?

(Maybe it's just me, but no other sites are doing this...)

Microsoft.com loads fine for me.

Try clearing your cache and also try a different browser to see if it still happens.

cleared and working... odd! thx (should have cleared it while not in IE... DOH!)
