Problem: Performance Index for Alpha Blend etc.

Hi there,

I installed Vista Business 64 using Vlite beta 1.1 (not beta 2!)

I am not able to use Performance Index in order to achieve alpha blend features..

Silly as I am I used DTweak (optimization software).

I already tried to insert

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Control Panel\Performance Control Panel

and

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Control Panel\Performance Control Panel

and change PerfCplEnabled to 1

Does anyone have a solution?

Did you remove WinSAT or WMP Codecs?

It's been a while since I created Vlite Disk....

Hi,

I inserted my VLite Vista Disk and searched for WinSAT and WMP ^^ unfortunately I did not found ANY of these! I checked the box saying "search for hidden non indexed files"....

What shall I do now? Can I add the files to Vista using orignal DVD? I WAS able to use performance index while Installing vista...

thanks for your help!

I will make a new Vlite DVD... but I will definetly wait with reinstall because the Performance Index ist just a "Prestige" tool which does not have influence on games etc.
