clidx Posted December 15, 2007 Share Posted December 15, 2007 (edited) i set up my pc with wake on lan for orb and pimpstreamer (2 media streaming apps) and they work fine. but is there any script or something to make my pc go back to standby after the streaming is finished?thanks. clidx Posted December 17, 2007 Author Share Posted December 17, 2007 sorry for bumping, but i've solved this by enabling S3 standby in the bios and it seems to be a much more efficient mode. another good thing is that it goes back to standby after waking for a lan task except when it should be going back to sleep, it turns up with a BSOD. i can't find the dump atm but it'll be easy enough to recreate the BSOD and copy the dump before anything has a chance to delete it, if necessary.thanks.
