kumarkumar Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 My Laptop shuts down by itself frequently. Just 10 seconds or so before shutting down the fans rotate vigorously (can tell that by the noise) and the Laptop shuts down. Since yesterday the Laptop doesn't even boot to Windows. I press the start button and before it even boots to windows the above thing happens and it shuts down. There have been no error messages of any kind. I have tried default factory settings in the BIOS and even did a fresh Windows reinstall but that didn't help.Since the fans rotate vigorously just before the Laptop shuts down I am guessing that its a problem with the temperature sensors which are probably giving wrong information to the computer making it think that its overheated and hence it forces shutdown.Any ideas? Any solutions?Pls help
puntoMX Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 Can you give us the brand/type of the laptop please; it could be that more people suffer this problem.
