doufer
I used nlite to integrate things for XP. Im using 2 ports KVM switch and when i switched to XP the new hardware wizard dialog would pop up asking for a driver for the mouse "HID-complaint mouse" and keyboard "HID-compliant keyboard". I thought they re installed internally (silently installed).Due to my understanding, with Window's own drivers, the mouse/keyboard will only show up as HID Compliant devices. The non-nlited XP obviously has these third party drivers installed, and the nlited XP obviously doesn't. Is there a hotfix to fix that for Nlite? How do i manually install 3rd party mouse/usb/keyboard drivers from retail XP cd on XP?any help would greatly appreciated.
kharnt0x
Getting the exact same issue here. And the client is really p***ed off =/Guess I should stick to integrating stuff myself, but nLite would have been such a time saver.

kharnt0x
That's what you get when you break the EULA; nLite is only meant for personal use!Interesting. Anyway, you are quite correct. So many of those installshield EULA's are just the cookie cutter one that I didn't even bother reading it. Good thing I have done the work myself now, and the nlite build was never in prod lol. Works without any issues. But, just because I am not the only person getting this bug... and others are having the issue also, I will post the ini.
