jj41 Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 Hi everybody. This is my first time creating a unattended cd and it looks like I'm going to need some help. I'm tring to create an unattended XP Pro SP2 disc (nothing being slipstreamed in). Everything goes smoth until during the instalation process when it says its "installing network" I recieve a BSOD with it describing that the tcpip.sys file caused this. Does anybody have any solutions?
gosh Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 are you integrating any windows updates that use tcpip.sys?-gosh
jj41 Posted December 6, 2007 Author Posted December 6, 2007 No, all I'm using is the source CD. Nothing else is being integrated.
IcemanND Posted December 7, 2007 Posted December 7, 2007 any tweaks to the installation? What network card? What is in your answer file?
jj41 Posted December 8, 2007 Author Posted December 8, 2007 Luckily I found the problem, that one file must have been corrupted. After I copied over the file again from my source disc I never got the error again.
