orbter Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 Is there a way to make disc image without going through whole nlite procedure?I forgot to add some files or wrote wrong registration data which I can easily correct in winnt.sif but then I have to make disc image and all extra modifications in winnt.sif are deleted. I wish I could use just the last syntax that creates image without having to go all the way again and again.
Ponch Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 then I have to make disc image and all extra modifications in winnt.sif are deleted.??? Don't know what you are doing but if you restart nLite and select only "Make Bootable Iso" or something like that (last step), nothing is changed to the content of the folder. And to the lazy ones, it only takes 10 seconds to get there.
orbter Posted November 30, 2007 Author Posted November 30, 2007 So I don't need to leave all options after importing last session???I wasn't sure what would it do.
Ponch Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 Ah...that's what changed your unattend settings. No, you don't EVEN have to reimport the last_session, you just do nothing but ISO. If you reimport then you reintegrate, you reapply tweaks etc and you reapply (or reset some) unattend settings, furthermore, the Last_session is changed aswell as reflection of those changes. If you only create ISO, the Last_session is not changed.
