issue regarding perfomance counters

hi im a new commmer to this forum & i,m having a big isssue regarding perfomance counters in both windows 2000 & xp

plz help!!!!!

im using both windows xp & windows 2000 for a test lab.and in xp i created counter logs using

logman create counter test01_ perf_log command, as usual its working properly

but in windows 2000 the logman command is not working

i get to know that there is another way to do it in windows 2000 please help me in this coz im reallly screwed up now.
