indianarchie
I have some files in flash (.swf) format which I downloaded from various sites (mainly ecards and small games). Currently, they open in Internet Explorer 6. I cant figure out how to set the options to get them to open in the Macromedia flash player. Can somebody help me with the software reqd, and the settings to change? I downloaded the flash installer from the adobe site, but it seems to be the flash activex plugin for browers, and i still cant get the swf files to open in the flash player. My primary purpose is to open the files in flash player and then convert the swf files to .exe projectors using the inbuilt menu option in the flash player. I dont want to install third party software to convert swf to exes. Double Impact
You need to download the latest Standalone Flash Player (link) and place it to your folder of choice (like "Program Files\Flash Player"). Then run it and it will be associated with .swf Edited November 17, 2007 by Double Impact
