Hi does anyone know how to turn on the Phishing option in Internet Explorer 7 for ALL USERS that log into the pc. It would be awesome if there was a command line to accomplish this.

Thanks to all who respond.

If you read the description on that policy it sound like it turns it on -wny else would you have to choose an option. GPs are like sometimes that you have to enable the disabled policy to enabled what you want to disable. :D

I have the regkey but is A PER USER settings. I would like to set it once per computer.

Give this a try:

HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT

Not really. its kind of both. the HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT branch applies to all NEW users but will not affect existing ones

if you know so much about the registry why didn't you find it? it only took about 10 seconds searching the HKLM branch once i got to a machine running IE7

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\PhishingFilter

Enabled=2

Enabled=1 for on without auto checking

That branch in HKLM doesn't exist. I just did a search on a machine with IE7

If it doesn't exist then you should create it and if it doesnt override the one in HKCU the remove the one in HKCU
