Unattended Tablet Edition help.......

Featured Replies

I am new here so firstly I would like to say Hi to you all and thanks to anyone who responds to my problem. I am fairly new to Nlite but it doesn't seem particulary difficult and I have built several deployments for multiple PC's and laptops without any issues. I am now doing my first Tablet Edition and I am stuck.

Once the install is complete, I get the necessary "Tablet Edition" splash screens except no Tablet Edition functionality. Its basically XP Pro with Tablet splash screens! I have definately used the correct license code and have copied the cmpnents folder to the same level as the i386 folder but it doesn't install the tablet functionality. Am I doing something wrong or is there more to it than this?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Before we had the same issue with the Media Center edition, it turned out that it needs couple of components to work.

Search the forum, maybe someone talked about it, I vaguely remember someone saying it needs Media Center components (probably compatibility option) plus few others, presumably Tablet PC ...

I'll try it myself eventually, you are welcomed to fire a few trials in virtual grounds if you're interested. And let me know if you find any more info.
