Problems with the new Nvidia 169.01 Beta Driver

When I play The new Crysis Single Player Demo, I get freezing issues during game play. Every 15-20 seconds during game play my game will freeze for like 10-15 seconds, then un-freeze. Sometimes The game screen just goes black, and I have to ctrl+alt+del out, if I play another game, Frontlines Fuels Of War Beta, It happens too, except I don't get the black screen like on the Crysis game. The previous beta driver worked fine. Does anyone have any suggestions?

i got some black screens with crysis also but with their latest stable driver. what video card do you have and what settigs/resolution are you playing on.

i tried crysis with the new beta driver 169.01 and it froze one time. i just went into the settings, tell it to auto config my video settings and everything went smoothly. maybe there is a bug withthe driver or the demo that is causing this. remember that the driver is beta.

also, try to uninstall your drivers, clean them up with guru3d driver or something else in safe mode then install them.

im just mad that according to crysis official forums vearly video card performace table i would be able to run everything on high with my 8800GTS 320 but it puts all on medium and i have to play with most settings to get to run it smoothly.

i hope the final version changes this.

lol, i have an 8800GTS 320MB too and i immediatly put everything to high settings and it runs pretty well. of course i have it overclocked alot..
