When I download video clips and click play, the video plays upside down. How can I fix this?

Are you by any chance "borrowing" someone's wifi? Because I believe there are ways for people to flip things upside down and stuff if you use their wifi without having a pre-authorized mac address. Never seen it myself though. Have you tried reinstalling Windows Media Player through add/remove windows components?

you may already have it and not know about it (usually bundled in those oh-so-wonderful codec packs)

then run the configuration utility, look for the miscellaneous category and check/uncheck flip video

That's going to be a codec issue. See what codec this video requires.
