ok i usually update all my drivers up to date once in 6 months (give or take), i seem to have the latest version of lan+video drivers for my mother board but i can't seem to find for my sound card (on board), this would be my mother board: http://www.asus.co.nz/products.aspx?l1=3&a...amp;modelmenu=2. I know its soundmax as they are the only ones who have ADI AD1986A High Difinition Audio 5.1channel CODEC

Support Jack-Sensing and S/PDIF out interface, but i just can't seem to find the version for vista... any help? thank you again

Looks like they have the drivers for the M2NPV-VM which according to their site has the same audio as your board
