weEvil
Does server 2003 include .net framework 2.0 & 1.1 built in?Because whenever I need to run apps that use either, it asks me to download off the MS site.

nmX.Memnoch
It only installs 1.1 if you install IIS. I believe (and I'm not positive about this) that 2.0 may be included in the x64 version if you install IIS.
deda
On the R2 version there's a option to install Net 2.0, but even you install them, you have to change for 2.0 on IIS console. The default is 1.1 .You also must authorize "network service" to write on wwwroot.

I told about IIS because I work with it and was my first idea, I didn't read carefull, I apologize. If you won't install it OK, but soon or later you'll need it, be sure.
