reivilo Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 Hi, as a student, I am allowed to download a copy via msdnaa of the iso file for windows XP professional WITH sp2.I tried nliteOS on it but got an Unknown Windows Version Error.Is there a way to fix that ?

reivilo Posted October 16, 2007 Author Posted October 16, 2007 (edited) Nevermind, i think this is either a problem from the iso file or from my machine, since i burnt the iso file, and it wouldnt boot ( I would get stuck at Press any key to boot from CD). I then tried to rebuild the Installation CD using some tool BCD i found on the website of the author of BartPE. SAme resultFinallly, i tried to launch winnt from Dos using a dos disk drive on my usb flash drive (no floppy) and i got a "Program to big to fit in Memory.", with smartdrv and himem.sys launched...I finally gave up and created a custom installation CD of my oem WIn XP Home installation Edited October 16, 2007 by reivilo
