tomokun
Please oh please help me. I get this message when I try to install Microsoft Office 2007 on my XP MCE machine. I have already uninstalled Word, and checked all the nooks and crannies to make sure there are no traces left:"Setup could not find any available products to install. Please contact your system administrator."
puntoMX
Looks like you are updating your office, I have seen this before. I think I just kept the office components like excel.exe and winword.exe were it was and used the update function (this was like 7 years ago but it could be the same with the new versions). What version did you buy any way?--- EDIT ---By the way, make sure you have administrator rights. What OS are you using on your computer?
tomokun
I'm using XP Media Center Edition Service Pack 2As for office, I removed the existing office, so I can't update now, unless I install the student and teacher edition of 2003, which I don't think will install. As for the version of office, it's the 2007 edition...Looks like you are updating your office, I have seen this before.
